We took a little road trip with our little family to a little place called Wendover! Doesn't that sound exciting?? It was very exciting. Yes, it really was. Don't believe me? Well, I'm sorry. You just had to be there! We took the scenic route through Eagle Mountain. It was cool to behold the flip-side of the mountains we see daily.
Here we are at our destination in Wendover. This picture didn't work out as we planned, but I think it's neat-o with our reflections on the hood.
We ate at the Peppermill buffet. It was pretty good (better than I thought it would be). Jorg "got lost going to the restroom" and I think he won a dollar. I told you it was exciting!
Rebecca slept most of the way (thank goodness) because when she was awake, she was a little ornery. Except when she was showing off at the buffet. She is a very cute and friendly girl. She was the only baby in the casino. Can you imagine? People don't take their children to casinos! What a crazy world :)
We like it!!
P.S. We also saw "floating mountains" from our car window. Here is the explanation from Wikipedia. It was an amazing sight!
"Each rainfall erases tire marks and flattens the densely-packed salt pan that is inhospitable to plants. The area is extremely flat and aligned nearly perfectly with the shape of Earth, allowing visitors to see the curvature of the planet by producing an optical illusion that makes many of the mountains within the vicinity appear to be floating in the air since their bases are on the other side of the curve and thus out of sight."

I can't believe people dont bring their babies to casinos, those babies are truly missing out. And cool about the "floating mountains" I've never heard of that before! Way cool!
