Provo is ShAkIn -- Provo BebT

Our litte cuttie is getting ready for her first interview with CNN ;) Not quite...we found out this morning that our little superstar is having something called "Jaundice" it is a mild yellow pigments on the skin and is quite common amoung new borns.
She is just so inredible and the whole state is "shakin" by her cuteness.

First day First smile

Isn't she one of the cutest baby ever? I think theeeeeeee cutest baby! We are very proud and happy. I took her first random smile ever and you surely see that Emily is her MOM.

Emily was mostly resting today and is slowly recovering from the labor. Right now it is 1:03 AM and Emily is trying to give our baby her last meal. Rebecca is still awake and ready to get her testing done at 3 AM.
Well this was an exciting day and we are looking forward to see our friends soon.

Here is our Superstar

After a tough C section we are happy she is here

update 7:56 PM

not yet ..the doc had to leave to an emergency..not our ..we are starting pushing in @ 10 min

we are at 100/100

the baby will come any minute now. Emily is very brave and we count in German

Update from the "soon" to be newborn Star

Emily is very happy that everyone thinks and prays for her. As you can see on the picture contractions are getting stronger and more frequently.
We are at 60/100 contractions, heartbeat of Rebecca very stable. Emily had some pain first she handles everything so brave and is still smiling, we go a boost on the epidural and Emily feels now in lalala land and looks very cute even with an oxygen mask....and she reminds me of the line: "May the force be with you"
We will get a new nurse soon, because the shift is "shifting" ;). I am holding Emily's hand and let you know that we are overwhelmed by your response.

We all love EM ;)

Hey ya'll! This is the first time Smorgie is posting something. We are in the hospital and thanks to modern technology we are online ;).
Emily is doing well and on the last picture she is smiling and happy to be a Mom soon. Be with us in your thoughts and we will have a big party once SpeckMeck is born. We all love Emily and I as her husband can say that she is the bravest and cutest and best little girl I have ever known.
We are very happy to be proud parents soon.
Love Smorgie

Baby

Here is a picture of a baby! I just...really wanted a picture of a baby on our blog :)
The update is that I'm having contractions every once in a while, but they're like, an hour apart. So we're still waiting! The doc said we'll get an induction tomorrow if we need it. Still sittin' waitin' wishin'! Jorg dropped me off at my parent's house and has gone to work. I'm just hanging out with my mom. We'll go get pedicures or something. Fun times!

Sittin' Waitin' Wishin'

I think the pictures say it all! No, really we're not quite THAT devistated. Just having a little fun :) But unfortunatley, there is only 1 hour left of April 22nd. This means that we must've done something wrong because Mikie was SURE of the 22nd...sorry Mike. We almost tried the castor oil thing, but decided we'll give her a few more days. The baby watch continues! Thanks for your positive thoughts and prayers. We love you!! Jorg says we will post the video of the birth - LIVE- here on this web site, just as soon as it all happens. Uhhhhhhh....hUH......

Spring Break of Speck

Bulging, beefy, and swollen...it's the Spring Break of Speck and I don't have to work for the rest of the week! Yea!! Jorg's working so I'm just doing stuff at home today and...taking pictures of myself... It's still weird when I look in the mirror or at a picture and think, "Is that really me??" We went to the doctor this morning...I'm 39 WEEKS! When will she come? The doctor says it could be any time. Yes, that was VERY helpful information. He did try to "get me started" (ouch!) this morning, but nothing's happening yet. And I'm still carrying her pretty high. We're just so excited, it's hard to wait. But I guess we have to? Anyways, I'm feeling good...considering my HUGEness...and just trying to enjoy life. We like it!?!

When will she come? Before my mom's birthday (please?) On my mom's birthday, April 22nd? ON my due date, April 24th? AFTER my due date, April 25-29th?
What is YOUR guess for her birthdate?
She will be named after the person whose guess is the closest!

Knödeling...for the first time

Here's Em with the famous German chef, Jorgie Smorgie. We came across this picture while Emily was hungry (as she usually is these days). We're making potato dumplings (knödeling). We like it! Wink, wink.

Check out Jorg's head! It happened yesterday. Poooooor boy. How do you think he got this bruise?

a. He was playing with a suction cup.
b. He was changing the oil in his car.
c. He ran into the wall.
d. He stepped on a rake.
e. Emily hit him with a frying pan.
f. All of the above

Teardrop Blue

We painted Rebecca's room Teardrop Blue. (We...meaning Jorg.) The name sounds depressing, but it's really a happy color!! We like it! Jorg didn't have time to finish the room that first night, but he left Em a message of love. Oh l'amour...
