So...Food Storage?

My boyfriend's back, again!!! He got home last night. The babe and I picked him up at the airport. We like it!! Rebecca was in her monkey costume because I know how Jorg loves her in that (he's the one who did the "Halloween Preloaded" post). You can imagine she got lots of well-deserved attention from everyone around. Jorg had the camera packed away so unfortunately, no picture. But the Peachies was sooooooo happy to see him! She just perked right up, even though it was almost 11:00 and she had just woken up. She's entering into that "attachment" phase and cries when she goes to strangers so I thought she would take a minute to warm up to him. NOPE! She started smiling and playing with his face right away. It was so cute, I cried...

And I aLMOSt cried when I saw what Jorg's luggage was full of:

"Huh??? Honey? dear?? How is THIS stuff supposed to help me look good and feel great?" I'm on WeightWatchers online and I've lost 7 pounds so far. NOthing compared to the 40 more I will lose. (Yes I will, yes I will) ANd when Jorg unloaded everything, our entire counter was filled and overflowing with German chocolate, cakes, cookies, and candies. In EVERY variety. CHocolate. I LOVE chocolate. ANd this is not just any chocolate. THis is GERMAN chocolate. The best in the WORLD. I LOVE GERMANY!!!!!!!!!!!! ANd did i mention, I love chocolate? So, today is my day off work, Rebecca is asleep and this post is going on and on. But I have to keep typing or I fear I will just....eat chocolate!!!!!!!!! and marzipan! and gummy bears! and licorice! and Christmas cake! and...HELP!

P.S. We need more pictures of Jorg on this blog. He says he took some of our beautiful Germany and his mom and sisters who were all there at once! He surprised his mom (she was speechless!) who is there on vacation right now (we miss you, Omi). And he tried to surprise Berit but I accidently ruined the surprise, oops. ANyways, I hope he got a photo of everyone together (minus me, rebecca, and Jim still here in the states). ANd, I'm still typing...trying to resist the yummy temptations...Oh good, I think Rebecca is waking up...I have to leave this house!! aaaaaaaaaaaah!

Just As We Suspected...

We like it!! Isn't that fun? Emily (my sister-in-law) tried it out for us the other day. She saw it on her cousin's blog. They had a different result, so I just know this thing must be 100% accurate...I just know it! I want to try it out sometime with Rebecca's newborn photo. I think the result will be different, she was Jorg's twin in the hospital.

FALLin' in Love!

We are in love with our babe. And SHE is in love with leaves. I took her for walk on a leafy trail. I handed her one of the leaves. I thought for sure she would treat it like she does paper, instantly crushing it up and trying to eat it (as she is in
this picture). But our baby knew it was part of nature and treated it with such respect. She held it out to look it over and then held it up to her little cheek. I wished so badly I would've had my camera! She rode along in her stroller for a good 20 minutes like that. These are the pictures we took when we got back to my parent's house and she decided it was finally time to crush up that leaf and eat it.

P.S. Jorg is in Germany on business right now. He left Monday and will be home this Sunday. We miss him so, so, so, so, so much!!!!!

Halloween Preloaded

We got a nice Halloween monkey outfit for our girl. She did not look too happy in it. Maybe it is because she is not used to her big ears and tail, but we are sure she will love it when it is the Great Premiere:)

Aunt Steph

Steph and I had a sleepover while Jorg was gone. It was so great to be with my sissy. She's a super-duper auntie. She is even the one who first called Rebecca, Peachies! Thanks for hanging out with us, Steph!

Peachies mostly cried in this video clip, and it's kind of long, but really funny too (at least her parents think so :)

CHIN WAH

I was talking to Jorg on the phone and told him we were eating at a Mexican Restaurant called Chin Wah for ladies night (during Priesthood session on Saturday). It took me a second and the help of my mom to realize my mistake. So, here are Mar, Rebecca, Aunt Soogie, and Mel eating Chinese at this great Mexican Restaurant!
My mommy, auntie Heather, and Grandma were there too :) My cute grandma (96 years old) made us laugh when she asked why we were eating in a "railway car". I guess it was a pretty narrow room...

St. Croix

I have never heard of an island St Croix, but now I have fallen in "love" with the beauty of this region. This picture is from my camera and my friend Shane took it.
It is hard to describe how beautiful this island is: Rain Forrest, billions of stars at night and the noise of millions of bugs and frogs at night and of course the riffs are incredible.
However it would have been much more fun with my family. Hopefully next time!
