There was a couple of weeks this cold winter where the air quality was so bad, we didn't even go outdoors unless it was absolutely necessary. One day my parents took me and Rebecca up the canyon to Midway, just to spend the day! It was so good to be able to see the blue sky. The weather was also much warmer. It was a REALLY fun day! The highlight of the day was ice skating. Rebecca put on a brave face that turned into a huge grin! She loved skating so much, it was hard to get her off the ice! First she skated with me. Then she made a couple of little friends and they skated around together. She skated with the cone the entire time, but she did so well for a first timer. My brave and careful girl!
