"I loved this day :) Presents and cake for breakfast, a bike ride with friends, lunch with my family, a beautiful hike w steph and joel, watching Rebecca swim, In 'n Out for dinner, phone calls & messages from family and friends. Plus being spoiled by Jörg Bachmann. I am a blessed girl!"
35 things that make me happy (in no particular order): blue skies/flowers/rainbows/mountains/the beach, good music, lunch and conversations with true friends, chats with mom, trips with Jorg and Rebecca, "Tagotholys", spending a day with Jim and Birgit, watching Rebecca discover/create/dance/read/write, watching Rebecca play with friends, visiting our family in Germany, reading novels, running, bike rides with Rebecca, hiking, dates with Jorg, chocolate, nature walks, General Conference, looking at photos, teaching children, my Beehives, cooking/baking, shopping, my cousins/nieces/and nephews/aunts/uncles, keeping a well-groomed yard, reading to rebecca - I can never say no when she asks me to, going to the movies, big earrings, feeling peace, princess parties, answered prayers, my mom and dad, Jon, Emily, Natalie, William, Lane, Kim, Logan, Joel, and Steph, Jim, Birgit, Berit, Kristin, Michael, Annalie, Aaron, hugs and kisses from Rebecca.
35 things I've learned in life so far: 1. good things do come to those who wait. 2. Heavenly Father knows me and loves me 3. My Savior paid the price for my sins. 4. to be able to repent is a precious and sweet gift 5. no one is perfect 6. don't judge: "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle" - Plato 7. "Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to loved" - President Monson 8. Tomorrow is always another day, "The Sun will come out tomorrow" -Annie and the actor playing President Roosevelt 9. "Wickedness never was happiness" - Alma 41:3 10. Live without regrets 11. At times, boundaries are necessary. 12. "If it isn't kind, it isn't cool" - Rosemary 13. Motherhood is the greatest calling of my life. I am so lucky to be a mom. 14. True friends are the kind who love you, forgive you, and always try to understand you. 15. Family is the most important thing. We were sent here together for a reason. I sure love my family - Jorg and Rebecca, Aldriches, Lindsays, McKinlays, Sloans, Harringtons, Bachmanns, Wolferts, and Boswell. 16. Meaning: there is a plan for me. My job is to seek always for inspiration, light, and, truth, and I will find contentment, peace, and happiness. 17. "A smart man learns from his mistakes, and wise man learns from the mistakes of others" 18. Heaven on earth can be found in the temple. 19. Patience is a virtue! 20. Selflessness is needed to create a loving marriage, "blessed is the home where each puts the other's happiness first."- quote on my wall 21. My husband is cute. 22. Stay close to Heavenly Father. Always. 23. Being a sister and an aunt brings me joy 24. Don't compare yourself to others. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. 25. Love your body. Exercise. Eat right. Be kind in your thoughts and words. Your body is the temple for your spirit. 26. Think positively. Speak positively. 27. I can't change other people. I can only change myself. 28. I can influence others positively when I treat them with respect and love them. 29. It's important to remember that everyone on Earth is a son or daughter of God. 30. If you can help someone, do it. 31. When I pray for opportunities to serve, without fail...they find me! We are "God's hands". I am happier when I take the time and energy to serve others. 32. When I study the scriptures and conference talks, my path in life seems more clear. 33. My parents love me unconditionally 34. Being married is wonderful 35. I can do hard things.
