A quote I often think of when I have something to do which I find hard or unpleasant. A quote from a father to his son, Gordon B. Hinkley. We love him. We'll miss him. We'll keep with us his example of hard work and love, his council, his humor, until the day we see him again.
Jorg played me this clip before he left for work this morning. It was aired on CNN.

The Dimples
These were taken last week in the condo. (More about the move, the new place, and the amazing "movers" later.) Rebecca LOVEs "Mr. Penguin"! I have dozens of shots of her cuddling with that thing, on different occasions. She doesn't get tooo excited about her other animals. But the dimples pop..in..and the happy squeals begin when she sees her arctic friend!

She Crawls!
We don't have a great video of Rebecca crawling yet. But, she crawled for the first time on January 4th! Here she is with both grandma's, later that same day. And...where do you think we are...

SOLD
We're moving to Springville! It's surreal that we're moving into our first home. We're moving on Saturday, so we're already swimming in boxes. Hopefully the weather will hold-up so we won't have to haul all our stuff in a blizzard. Isn't it amazing how much "stuff" we collect? I never realize how much I have until it's time to categorize it. We said our goodbye's in church today. Our condo has been perfect for us. I will miss it here in Pleasant Grove, especally the Macey's...just a two minute walk away. But...we can't be too sad. We love our new home!
Here's the view from our backyard. No one can build closer than those lamp posts you see...so our view should remain "our view" until...forever...
We brought in the "troops" when we were making the decision. Everyone was in agreement. "Rebecca will love it here!" they said. We think she will :)

I Met My Cousin!! by:Rebecca
Last night my cousin was born! Aunt Emily and Uncle Jon have a beautiful new daughter named Natalie. I got to go to the American Fork Hospital, only a couple of blocks from my house, and meet her. She has beautiful dark hair and full lips. She opened her eyes for me. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces...just like me! AND she was 20 inches long...just like me, too! I can't wait to play with her! Mom will post some pictures of her a little later (when she's not at work). YAY!!!

Jumpin' for Joy! It's super short, but you get the idea...
Here she is almost crawling...doing the "scoot and flatten". This was taken on Christmas Eve.

8 Months Young
And today is the birthday of Omi (Jorg's mom)! We get to eat at Tucanos for dinner, so we're skipping lunch to save room. OH, it's soooo yummy.
Here are the scrapbook pages of our cutie at 8 months! She is crawling now!! She can pull herself up. And just learned to clap (with flat hands). Soooo fun. More pix to come!

Happy New Year!
We had a great time ringing in the New Year. We spent some time with Kim and Chris Viveros (they were on their way up north from Vegas) and my parents. We ate Chinese food and had a great time. We were on our way home around 10:00 and decided we needed more party! So we headed up to Aunt Heather's where she has her annual bash.
Great peops, GREAT food (Auntie Heahter spends all day cooking for this party and it is out of this world)! Aunt Soog was there too. (Hi Aunt Soog!) and a plithera of Sloans. Jorg is a pyromaniac and had a great setting letting off his fireworks. The kids were especially enthused. Sassi Cassi and Clan were there and Keikoa got to light a few of the big ones. He was so cute, I wish I would've gotten some pictures.
